The Full form of TT can be described as The Travelling Ticket Examiner. TT examiner is an employee of the Indian railways that examines passengers' tickets on the way to and from trains. The group of Travelling Ticket Examiner falls under the authority of the Indian Railway Traffic service (IRTS) cadre of officers in Indian Railways. The TTE typically is dressed in black uniform (black pant and vest) which has his personal name, as well as designation on an IRTS badge. Typically a traveling Ticket Examiner is in charge of approximately 5-6 coaches during the entire journey in case of short distances. It is caused by a bacteria known as Clostridiumtetani. The bacteria may enter the body through a cut the skin, wounds, bites burns, etc. They can affect the nervous system, and can lead to serious complications in the event of not being treated. The most common signs of this disease include convulsions, lockjaw, muscle spasms, stiffness and problems swallowing.

The vaccine was created in the 1920s. It became popular after its use in World War II to protect the US military from tetanus. Tetanus vaccination is recommended for all infants, children and adults.

Tetanus is a disease that requires active immunization which produces artificial active immunity. The mode of action is through activating immunity by injecting dead version of the disease, causing an immune system react by producing antibodies. This can be beneficial in later phases of life as immunity in the human body acts immediately if the disease enters the body afterward by generating antibodies that recognize the antigen.

The vaccination is essential in the period of gestation since it allows the fetus to receive the antibodies. The vaccination is administered between 26 and 36 weeks gestational period.
